What this privacy policy covers

• This policy covers how the Youth With A Mission (YWAM) international Chairman's Office will treat any personal information collected by YWAM International Chairman’s Office on behalf of YWAM International. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, date of birth and that is not otherwise publically available.
• This policy does not apply to policies or practices by other YWAM entities outside of England.

Information collection and use

• YWAM collects personal information when you subscribe to a YWAM mailing list managed by the International Chairman’s office. The YWAM International Chairman’s Office may combine information about you that we have obtained from other YWAM entities.
• When you subscribe we ask for information such as your name, email address, birth date, gender, nationality, relationship to YWAM and personal interests. We do not ask for any financial information as we do not offer any products or services for a fee.
• YWAM automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address and the page you request.
• YWAM uses information for the following general purposes: to customize the content you see, to fulfil your requests for information, improve our services, contact you and conduct in-house research.
• The YWAM International Chairman’s Office will send emails to its users based on their areas of interest and chosen in their preferences.

Information sharing and disclosure

• The YWAM International Chairman’s Office does not rent, sell or share personal information about you with other people or organizations without your permission.
• The YWAM International Chairman’s Office will send information on behalf of the Global Leadership Team (GLT) and international ministry leaders and these leaders will only receive statistical information. They will not have access to any personal information.

Your ability to edit and delete your account information and preferences

• You can edit your personal information and preferences at anytime.
• New categories might be added to the areas of interest preference page from time to time. Users who visit this page can opt out of receiving future communication from these new categories or they can unsubscribe by following instructions contained in the messages they receive.
• We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to this service such as service announcements, administrative messages and critical leadership messages from the GLT.
• You can delete your account by visiting our account deletion page.

Confidentiality and security

• We limit access to personal information about you to YWAM staff who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide services to you or in order to do their jobs.
• We have physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in place to protect personal information about you as required by the European Union (EU) data protection act.

Changes to this privacy policy

• The YWAM International Chairman’s Office may update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your YWAM account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
